The ultimate barrier for landfill leachate and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD). Featuring an open-channel design and operating at extreme pressures up to 120 bar. 100% drop-in replacements for Rochem® and Pall® Disc Tube systems.
Original European DTRO modules are prohibitively expensive. As a direct-source integrator, we offer two distinct procurement tracks to drastically reduce your landfill leachate OPEX.
For new plant construction or replacing severely damaged housings. You receive a fully assembled, factory-tested DTRO module (FRP/SUS housing, flanges, discs, and cushions). 100% dimensionally identical to Rochem PF and Pall DT modules. Plug and play.
Why throw away a perfectly good stainless steel housing and ABS discs? We supply the exact octagonal membrane cushions and O-ring kits. Your field engineers simply open the module, slide in our OEM cushions, and restore 100% performance at a fraction of the cost.
Standardized testing conditions per ASTM D4516. Data represents typical values for WANDONG OEM equivalents.

Unlike standard RO, DTRO recovery rates in landfill leachate are strictly dictated by osmotic pressure rather than fouling. As permeate is extracted, brine concentration spikes exponentially. System design must ensure the final concentrate's osmotic pressure never exceeds the module's 120-bar mechanical limit to prevent zero-flux conditions.
WANDONG DTRO modules are manufactured to precise European dimensional standards. Whether you are replacing a single module or retrofitting an entire containerized plant, our hardware aligns perfectly with your existing high-pressure manifolds.
Why does a standard spiral wound RO membrane fail in landfill leachate within hours, while DTRO runs for years? The secret lies in the patented Disc Tube architecture.
Unlike spiral wound membranes that use a tight plastic mesh (spacer) which traps solids, DTRO utilizes a 2.0 mm open channel. Suspended solids and biomass simply cannot be trapped, allowing it to handle SDI levels up to 15.
Molded ABS spacing discs separate the membrane cushions. Their patented surface geometry forces the feed water into a highly turbulent, 180-degree reversing flow path. This extreme turbulence constantly scours the membrane surface, providing a self-cleaning effect that prevents scaling.
Formed from two layers of polyamide membrane ultrasonically welded around the periphery. The octagonal shape prevents dead zones where stagnant water could breed bacteria. Pure permeate collects inside the cushion and flows to the central rod.
The entire stack of 209 cushions and discs is strung onto a heavy-duty stainless steel central rod and compressed by metal end-flanges. This robust mechanical assembly is what allows the module to withstand a terrifying 120 bar (1740 psi) of hydraulic pressure without rupturing.
Designed for the worst water on earth. Strict adherence to these parameters ensures optimal performance and validates the warranty.

Due to the extreme pressures involved, strict adherence to the startup sequence is mandatory:
DTRO is not selected by TDS. It is selected based on the extreme osmotic pressure and fouling potential of your specific wastewater stream.
Designed for standard municipal landfill leachate where osmotic pressure is manageable but organic fouling (COD) is extremely high.
Most Popular ChoiceEngineered for aged landfill leachate and acting as the second stage in a two-pass DTRO system to ensure strict discharge compliance.
Heavy-Duty ApplicationThe ultimate ZLD pre-concentrator. Pushes brine to the absolute osmotic limit before thermal evaporation, saving massive thermal energy CapEx.
Currently ViewingWhen conventional biological treatment and spiral wound RO fail, DTRO is the only technology capable of reducing almost all parameters (COD, BOD, Heavy Metals, Salts) in a single step.
Treating highly toxic, non-biodegradable "Hard COD" directly from municipal landfills.
Using 120 bar pressure to hyper-concentrate brine before thermal evaporation, saving massive thermal energy.
Concentration of waste streams for valuable heavy metal recovery.
Reducing COD from 50,000 ppm down to <250 ppm in a single robust treatment step.
Manufacturing DTRO cushions requires extreme precision in ultrasonic welding. WANDONG ENVIRO operates automated robotic welding lines to ensure every octagonal cushion can withstand 120 bar of pressure without delamination.
We don't just sell components; we build the heavy-duty systems that rely on them. Our DTRO modules are the beating heart of our own containerized Landfill Leachate plants deployed globally.
Because we use these exact modules in our own EPC projects, they undergo rigorous internal quality control that pure trading companies simply cannot match. We stake our entire plant's performance on these elements.
