Step 1: 5-Stage Raw Water Pre-treatment. The process begins by pumping feed water into the multimedia filtration (Quartz Sand) and active carbon filters (ACF), controlled by automated RUNXIN® valves. This is followed by a resin softener to remove calcium/magnesium hardness. This critical industrial reverse osmosis pre-treatment stage reduces the Silt Density Index (SDI < 5) and eliminates free chlorine to protect the PA membrane from irreversible oxidation.
Step 2: Security Filtration & Chemical Dosing. Before entering the high-pressure stage, water passes through a 5μm PP melt-blown cartridge filter. To prevent inorganic scaling within the pressure vessels, a highly calibrated antiscalant dosing pump injects precise chemicals.
Step 3: High-Pressure Separation (RO Stack). Powered by premium Grundfos or CNP vertical centrifugal pumps, the pre-treated water is forced through the skid-mounted RO membrane elements at pressures up to 10-15 bar for brackish water (BWRO). The semi-permeable membranes achieve a salt rejection rate of >99.5%, separating the permeate (pure water) from the brine (concentrate).
Step 4: Ultrapure Polishing (Optional EDI). For power plants and electronics manufacturing, the first-pass permeate is sent through a second RO stack and an Electrodeionization (EDI) module, producing ultrapure water (UPW) with a resistivity exceeding 15 MΩ·cm.
